Sharing our farm through classes and education is one of our favorite things to do.

Homesteading Class Series: Gardening for All

Come to the farm to learn all about setting up your garden bed, preparing compost, different garden layout practices, and transplanting starts.

Date: Saturday, May 25th

Time: 10:00a.m. - 12:30p.m.

Cost: $35 per family (all ages welcome)

Plant starts will be available for purchase at the class.

Classes are open to whole families. You will receive an email confirmation and receipt. Once payment is received your spot will be held for you. You will receive an email confirmation and receipt. Many homeschool charters will reimburse for the class. This class will be held outside and in the greenhouse.

P.S. Gardening can get messy so dress accordingly.

Garden Science Class

Come to the farm and learn all about gardening with our hands-on, multisensory organic gardening class. Seeds, plants, soil, and sunshine will be explored as we learn the biology of the garden. Occasional farm animal guests.

Dates: Thursdays or Saturdays, April 25th-May 25th (5 weeks)

Time: See sign-up sheet for available times. Each class is 50 minutes.

Cost: $75/child; $150/household; $300/private class

Classes are held outside and in the greenhouse. There is a maximum of ten children (and their chaperone) per class.  

P.S. We will get dirty in this class so dress accordingly.

Field Trips & Presentations

Come experience life on the farm as we rotate through different stations learning about planting and composting, animals, tractors and irrigation in Central Oregon.

Farming Tuesdays

Come join us every Tuesday in July, 9:30-11:30 to help with farm chores and learn:

  • What do plants eat?

  • What do bees eat?

  • What do animals eat?

  • What do people eat?

Price: Free

Geared for ages 2-12 (and their adult chaperone).

I just wanted to say thank you so much for the fun class the other day. For the first time in my life, I was able to make a usable piecrust at home! Before they would just shrivel up and turn into an extra large saltine cracker  My family loved it! We definitely plan to take any future classes you have! Thanks again!
