Sharing our farm through classes and education is one of our favorite things to do.

Homesteading Class Series: Pressure Canning

Come to the farm to learn all about making homemade soups and bone broth and how to use a pressure canner.

Date: Saturday, October 26th

Time: 10:00a.m. - 12:30p.m.

Cost: $40 per family (all ages welcome, includes sampling the fruit)

Classes are open to whole families. Once payment is received your spot will be held for you. Receipts are available and many homeschool charters will reimburse for the class.

P.S. Cooking can get messy so dress accordingly. Aprons are encouraged.

Homesteading Class Series: Making Bread

Come to the farm to learn all about making bread: from loaves to rolls to monkey bread, plus how to use a sourdough starter!

Date: Saturday, October 2nd

Time: 10:00a.m. - 12:30p.m.

Cost: $40 per family (all ages welcome and includes sampling the creations)

$5 for sourdough starter to take home (optional)

This class is open to the whole family. You will receive an email confirmation letting you know payment is due. Once payment is received your spot will be held for you. Receipts are available and many homeschool charters will reimburse for the class.

Come to the farm to learn all about making sweet and savory pies from crust to eating!

Date: Saturday, November 16th

Time: 10:00a.m. - 12:30p.m.

Cost: $40 per family (all ages welcome and includes sampling the creations)

This class is open to the whole family. You will receive an email confirmation letting you know payment is due. Once payment is received your spot will be held for you. Receipts are available and many homeschool charters will reimburse for the class.

Farming Tuesdays

Come join us every Tuesday in July, 9:30-11:30, to help with farm chores and learn:

  • 7/30 What do people eat?

Cost: Free

Geared for ages 2-12 (and their adult chaperone).

I just wanted to say thank you so much for the fun class the other day. For the first time in my life, I was able to make a usable piecrust at home!
